Jessica Davis
4th and/or 5th Grade Teacher (loops with class)

Jessica Davis is a 5th year teacher who is new to the San Jose area. She was raised in Sacramento, but has taught in Nevada, Minnesota, and Honduras. Jessica attended Sacramento State and enjoyed her children's theater classes and creative writing electives.

Ms. Davis enjoys teaching science and is looking forward to utilizing the science lab time that is built into her schedule. She has worked with FOSS kits and will be able to create interactive units that allow students to create and explore new concepts.

She enjoys integrating visual and performing arts into her lessons. Jessica uses scaffolding and background knowledge to push all students towards proficiency and beyond.

Jessica enjoys crafts, spending time outdoors, and traveling. She is looking forward to visiting more art museums in San Francisco and the East Bay.
