Susan Leftwich
8th Grade Teacher

Susan Leftwich earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas and her Professional Clear Credential and CLAD Certification from San Jose State University.

Susan brings years of experience as both an educator and a parent. She began her teaching career as an elementary teacher in Austin, Texas where she taught 2nd and 4th grades.

Upon moving to California, Susan decided to focus on her children's education and became involved in developing a parent participation school in Mountain View and also served as a substitute teacher. She most recently served the Mountain View Whisman School District working with 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

Susan has a passion for performing arts and currently serves as a dance director. She was a member of the Board of Directors for Peninsula Youth Theatre, where she coordinated over 100 parent volunteers and produced Anne of Green Gables, The Music Man, and The Wiz.
