Colleen Malone
Aide II

Colleen was born and raised in San Jose, California. She has an extensive background in Early Childhood Education, beginning in high school with "Teacher in Training" courses, and spending her summers volunteering at a co-op preschool in Petsworth, England.

After completing college she began substitute teaching with various age groups, which led to teaching her very own class at Westside preschool. Colleen then jumped the great divide between preschool and Elementary, to study as a paraprofessional, completely submerged in the vast knowledge contained here at Discovery Charter School. She is now a fully fledged member of the Discovery staff and is excited to continue her journey with us.
