Mary Ellen Murphy, M.A. CCC-SLP brings over 17 years of experience and expertise to Discovery Charter School. She is a board certified and state licensed speech therapist who holds a CLEAR credential.

She has had extensive experience in special education an specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of language disorders in children including language processing disorders, phonology disorders, Autism, AspergerŐs and Apraxia. Her evidenced- based practice is established on the latest research and therapy techniques. Having children of her own, she can relate to many parental concerns and believes strongly that parent education is a large part of carryover and success.
