NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2012/2013 SCHOOL YEAR.

Open Enrollment period runs from January 30, 2012 – March 14, 2012.

Applications received after March 14, 2012 (after the Open Enrollment Period) will be placed on a waitlist in the order in which they are received.

Registration materials are available in the "Applications" link to the left of this page.

COMPLETE applications received within our Open Enrollment Period qualify to be included in the school lottery.

The Discovery Lottery will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at Discovery Charter School Rm. 2 at 2:00 p.m. Lottery attendance is optional and open to any interested parties. Results will be posted online within 24hrs.

Admission Lottery Preference Categories:

Enrollment preferences shall be given in the following order:

A. Siblings of currently enrolled students

B. Children of Discovery employees

C. Discovery Alumni families

D. Residents of Moreland School District students on prior year’s wait list

E. All other residents of Moreland School District

F. All other students on prior year's wait list

G. All other California residents

**Please note that the California state school entry date for Kindergarteners has been changed. Effective as of the 2012-13 school year, children must be five years of age on or before November 1, 2012 to eligible for Kindergarten.**
