October 26 Friday Community Camp Out and Drive In Movie
Grab your camping gear, bring dinner, and prepare for a great experience watching a family movie outdoors!
November 3 Saturday Fall Carnival
Games, booths, food and fun. Come enjoy our community with a fun event for the whole family.
November 27-30 5th Grade Science Camp
You will be amazed at how quite a campus can be when an entire grade level is away at camp!
December 17 Monday Winter Concert
Everyone is invited to attend our Winter Concert with performances by our very
talented student band, orchestra and choirs. What an enjoyable way to spend an evening.
Refreshments will be served. Location & Time to be determined.

January 7 - 12 7th Grade Sierra Science Camp
Snow, snowshoes, cave exploration, snow, and more snow. We get cold just thinking about it.
January 31 Thursday 100th Day of School Celebration
My how time flies when we are having fun!
February 13- 15 Gold Rush Trip
Will someone in the 4th grade strike it rich panning for gold? We certainly hope so!
February 28 Thursday Science Fair
Come by our campus and see what our clever and talented geniuses have done.
March 3 Monday Read Across America Celebration
This celebration isn't just for children. It's for everyone.
March 18- 21 6th Grade - Pinnacles Science Camp

Great Teachers Make Great Public Schools and we have wonderful dedicated teachers!
We will take time out to honor and treat our own educators and acknowledge the contributions they make to our lives and our children's.

May 27 - 30 Big Sur Camping - 6th Grade
Big Sur River, Condor tracking, wild bird banding, campfires, skits, hiking, hiking and more hiking! A year's worth of environmental studies climaxes into an exciting trip to Big Sur.
May 29 Thursday Discovery Open House
Everyone is cordially invited to attend our “First Annual Open House”. From our families, those curious/interesting in attending our school, to our community at large – anyone and everyone is invited to see what makes Discovery one of the best school’s around.

Bring something to throw on the grill, bring a dish to share, and be prepared to have a sizzling good time. All families are welcome to join the fun. John D. Morgan Park (Budd side). Picnic area located behind playground structure. (Area B) - look for streamers and covered tables. Take this chance to meet more new faces, and connect with new friends for you and your children.

Bring a soccer ball, volleyball set, water balloons, anything to share with others to keep the play opportunities at maximum. We'll have the grills ready to cook! Bring your own grill food, drinks and picnic-ware.

If your last name starts with letters A through K: You may bring a side dish to share.
If your last name starts with letters L through Z: You may bring a dessert to share.
