Tinker Days are back!  We've missed you and your curious children!  On Wednesday, October 29th at 1:30 we will have a chance to get messy with science as we experiment with Chemical Reactions!

Does your child like to get sticky, slimy or poke and prod?

We are going to have some outdoor fun making GAK!  Ak - what? There will be polymer orbs to "grow", a gobstopper color science experiment in a Petri dish, and for those in a festive Halloween mood, we will have Atomic glow worms to make and test out in a black lit box!

So come on out and meet us on the black top -- let's learn more about polymers and chemical reactions together!

This year we will ask the children to investigate the science behind a tinker day project. The children who choose to participate can record their answers or theories, with your help, in our Tinker log book. Each child who makes the effort to answer the inquiry will be recognized at Friday Sing the following week.

Tinker Days are a community based enrichment at no cost and all are welcome to attend. We only ask that you stay with your child and assist them in the process. The focus of Tinker Days changes with each event. If you are interested in helping out with future Tinker Days, contact: Sheila [email protected].

All the best and happy Tinkering!
