Spring Fun Fair Planning Meeting

There's been a lot of talk & community support for ways to help close Discovery II's funding gap. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work, Spring Fun Fair planning is about to commence.

Wednesday November 19th

7 pm Atrium @DII

Please bring your ideas and energy. We'll be building the event's framework and scope. We are looking for people that are willing to help, take ownership and build a really great event!

The Spring Fun Fair is new this year. It offers the Discovery II community a chance to invite friends, extended family and the outside community to a fun celebration of Spring on Saturday May 2. The Spring Fun Fair is a Discovery II-style carnival. Think of classroom games, hands-on fun, nature-inspired artwork, wholesome foods prepared by our students and parents, and much much more. Maybe a silent auction and student art fair? Teacher time bidding? Dunk tank? Petting zoo? So many possibilities! Please come out to share your ideas and lend hands-on help for this important fundraiser.

This is an all-community event. Please come out to help shape it. It will truly be a reflection of the community, only if we create it as a community.
