Tinker Day - Hands on Woodcraft

Ready to use some hand tools and build something from scratch?  The next Tinker Day will take place on May 19th (Monday after early release at 1:10 pm) and this time the focus will be hands on woodcraft.  

We will have supplies on hand to help your child build a boat from wood and see how it floats in water.  There will be opportunities for open ended building and also experimenting with a variety of tools from miter saws to hand drills and of course, hammer and nails!  Tinker Lab will also be open for science kits in a box.  

We have a call for materials so please keep a look out for the following in your day-to-day clean up, outings and shopping.  If you have something on the list, hold onto it-we'll ask you to bring it in soon enough!
