Discovery Charter Schools are a strong community of parents, educators, and volunteers that put students first! We build upon traditions and progressive educational philosophies which makes us stand out from other public schools. We focus on the whole child to enhance social, emotional, and academic learning and growth for students.
The Discovery Mission is always at the forefront in all that we do; creating lifelong learners that are prepared to meet the challenges of the future by educating the whole child through family involvement, project-based learning, and respect for individual learning styles and developmental readiness. From the moment our students walk onto campus we embrace them as individuals knowing that our job is to help students reach unlimited possibilities. Our work is about encouraging and equipping tomorrow’s leaders and change makers.

Mission Statement
At Discovery, we are committed to:
- Building an educational environment where developing, building, and engaging families and communities will provide a common vision for lifelong learning and student success;

Welcome to another exciting year at Discovery Charter Schools!
This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 20 years of serving students and families. Over the past two decades, Discovery has grown because of the dedication of exceptional educators, supportive families, engaged students, and a community that believes every child deserves an outstanding education.
Our anniversary theme, One Team. One Legacy. 20 Years., reminds us that every member of our school community plays an important role in our continued success. Together, we have built a legacy of academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to helping every student reach their full potential.
As we begin this school year, we remain committed to two core values that strengthen our partnership with families: transparency and community.
We believe that open and honest communication builds trust. Throughout the year, we will continue sharing important information about school programs, student learning, upcoming events, and organizational decisions. We encourage families to stay connected through ParentSquare, our website, board meetings, and school events.
Equally important is our sense of community. Discovery is more than a school—it is a place where students, families, and staff work together to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone belongs. We encourage you to volunteer, attend school events, and participate in family activities as we continue to grow together.
As we celebrate our first 20 years, we are also looking ahead with excitement and optimism. We remain committed to preparing students not only for academic success, but also to become compassionate leaders, critical thinkers, and engaged citizens.
