Executive Director's Message
Welcome to Discovery Charter Schools!
Welcome Back!
Greetings Discovery Charter School Families,
Welcome to the 2025–26 school year! Each August, we step into a new chapter filled with possibilities—new goals, new friendships, and new milestones to celebrate. I’m filled with gratitude for the strong, vibrant community that makes Discovery so special. This year marks nearly two decades of innovation and family partnership at our school—a legacy we are proud to continue. Discovery is not just a school; it’s a partnership built on the belief that together, we can create an extraordinary learning experience for our children.
Our unique model, grounded in parental involvement and community engagement, has thrived for nearly twenty years because of families like yours. Your dedication—whether through volunteering, participating in school events, or joining the PSC—has a direct impact on our students’ success. From park days before school begins to our Positive Discipline trainings, we encourage every family to connect, get involved, and help shape a meaningful year ahead. A special thank you goes to our school administrative teams, PSC leads, and volunteers who have been thoughtfully planning events and organizing roles to support our mission.
We are reminded through “One Discovery, One Team” that our collective efforts create a strong foundation for academic excellence, social growth, and emotional well-being. Every act of involvement, no matter how small, strengthens the Discovery experience for all students.
We also recognize that starting a new school year can bring excitement mixed with a few nerves. Our team is here to ensure that every child feels safe, welcomed, and ready to learn. If you have questions or need support, please know we are just a phone call or email away.
Here’s to a year of growth, collaboration, and countless moments of discovery. I can’t wait to personally welcome you and your children when we open our doors on August 12th!
With DCS Pride,
Lety Villa
