Assembly: Student Council Elections!
It is that time of year for our student council to start up again! Below are some FYI"s for you and your classes. Also, this year there will be 3 staff members helping to run students council. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask any one of us!

FYI's:
1. Students can now complete permission forms for student council leadership positions. Forms can be found in the office or in room 27 (as of 9/12).

2.Leadership Positions Include:
-President ( 8th grade only)
-School Store Manager, Secretary, Treasurer, and Board Rep( 6th-8th students)
- K-4 At Large Reps (2 will be elected)
-5th-8th At Large Rep (1 will be elected)

3. Once students turn in permission forms to Carol Bauerle in Room 27 they can start hanging up posters and campaigning.

4. The last day for students to turn in a permission is Monday, 9-19. The election assembly will be Wednesday, 9-21 starting at 9:00 am.

5. Please wait to hold off on choosing your classroom reps until AFTER the school wide leadership election results have been announced. Any students who ran for a leadership position, but were not elected, are encouraged to run for class reps.

6. For classroom reps, please choose 1-2 reps that will come to all meetings, and 1 substitute representative.

7. All student council members (leadership officers and classroom reps) will serve until the end of January. We will elect new leadership officers and classroom reps for second semester.
