ELAC(English Language Advisory Council) Information – English
All parents of English learners are welcomed and encouraged to participate!
- A major goal of this committee is to increase parent involvement at the school.
- ELAC includes the participation of parents in advising the school on the implementation and evaluation of instructional programs for English Learners.
- ELAC encourages open communication with parents and the sharing of information concerning school activities, programs, reports, and policies in the primary language.
- ELAC meets a minimum of 4 times per year for approximately one hour.
- We strongly encourage you to take part in these meetings!
Comité Asesor de Padres de Alumnos Aprendices del Inglés Information – Spanish
Todos los padres de alumnus aprendices del Ingles son invitados a participar!
- La meta de este comite es incrementar la participacion de los padres en nuestras escuelas.
- La participacion de los padres en ELAC ayuda a que se hagan sugerencias de implementacion y evaluacion de los programas academicos para aprendices del idioma ingles.
- Es un foro donde los padres comparten preguntas y reciben informacion acerca de las actividades llevadas a cabo por la escuela, reportes y polizas en su idioma.
- Las juntas de ELAC son llevadas a cabo 4 veces por año.
- Lo invitamos a que participle en las juntas y forme parte del comité!
