COSTUME GUIDELINES
No masks covering the whole face (half masks are okay)
No weapons of any kind
No fake injuries or fake blood
Inflatable costumes that do not cover the face are okay for the parade. They cannot be worn in the classroom
No full face paint (partial face paint is ok)
START INSIDE THE BLUE GATE
We will start with the younger grades and work our way up. The parade moves quickly! The times below are your grade level start time, so please leave your classroom early enough to arrive in the Courtyard at your scheduled time. It’s a flexible schedule, but we’ll try to keep grades together! Please wait in the courtyard until the classes ahead of you have left.
For classrooms at the front of the school, we recommend going in through the Atrium and over to the Courtyard to begin, so there isn’t a collision of people going in and out at the same time at the blue gate.
Please ask parents to watch from outside the fence: those inside the campus must sign in and out at the office. It can get pretty hectic otherwise! The front lawn is the best viewing area for families.
9:00 am - TK leads the way!
9:05 am - K/1 classes can join in!
9:10 am - 2/3 classes come on over!
9:15 am - 4/5 it's your turn!
9:20 am - Homeschool come onnnn doooowwwnnnn!
9:25 am - Middle School wraps up the show!
PARADE ROUTE
Students will show off their costumes in a parade that will start at the front blue gate and travel along the sidewalk around the Chesbro Ave side of the school, enter the campus at the blacktop gate, and end with a short assembly and class picture.
Family, friends, and paparazzi wishing to photograph the monsters, ghouls, et al., should wait on the front lawn if they do not wish to sign in. All others, please sign in at the front office and sign out when you leave.
And don't forget that Halloween Day is early dismissal: TK-3 at 12:30, 4th-8th at 12:45.
