On June 13, 2019, the 49ers and Landed surprised one of our staff with a $25,000.00 grant for a down-payment on a house. This is not the first time one of our staff has won this grant, giving our hardworking dedicated teachers the opportunity to stay and teach in our community. Thank you Landed and 49ers Foundation.
Congratulations to our Discovery Falcon Team who competed in Girls' Adventures in Math. This competition is team-based for girls in grades 3-8.

Discovery Phoenix 2nd/3rd grade classes (Mrs. Heinrich, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Patino) partnered with the South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition (SBC3) to clean-up a section of the Guadalupe River near West Virginia St. in San Jose. Read more to find out what they did, and some of the students comments.
