The 3 required steps for the lottery (application, information meeting, open house tour) do not need to be completed in any particular order.
Step 1. Complete an Application for the Phoenix Campus
The Open Enrollment Period closed Monday, March 3, 2025.
You can still apply for the 2025-2026 school year. To be eligible for the waitlist after Open Enrollment, you must attend an Information Meeting and Open House.
Step 2. Attend an Information Meeting
Information Meetings at the Phoenix Campus
The information shared pertains to all Discovery schools. Attending one Information Meeting will fulfill your requirement for both campuses and all programs.
Information meetings are available in two formats: virtually via Zoom or in person.
Duration is approximately 90 minutes including Q&A.

Step 3. Attend a Phoenix Campus Open House Tour
Open House Tours at the Phoenix Campus
Open House Tours are held in person only. Parents/legal guardians of applicants new to Discovery Charter Schools must attend an Open House Tour at the campus to which they apply. If applications are submitted to both campuses, a parent/legal guardian must attend an Open House Tour at both campuses.
All tours start at 9:00 am.

Optional: Join us for our Middle School Showcase
Join us for the Middle School Showcase to meet current students, teachers, and alumni. Discover what makes our middle school program unique and engage in meaningful discussions about our curriculum, activities, and student experiences.
While attending the showcase is optional and does not count toward lottery requirements, it’s a great opportunity to learn more about the next steps in your child’s educational journey.
