Message From Our Director

Hello and Welcome to the Discovery Phoenix Community!

 

It is with a very full heart that I have stepped into the Director role for the '22-'23 school year. We are in our 17th year together as a Phoenix Campus, which means we are writing our 17th chapter of our DCS Phoenix story!

 

Our website is filled with great information and resources to learn more about what our community is all about. We are very proud of our real world, hands on, project based learning approach that meets the diverse needs of each student. We have an amazing staff that focuses on building strong relationships with students and families so everyone in our community can feel seen and valued, as well as empowered to follow their passions and curiosities.

 

One of the most essential parts of our program is our strong parent partnership model. We can not fulfill the philosophy and mission of our school without YOU! As you explore our website, you will see so many opportunities for you to partner with us: classroom support shifts, classroom and school wide roles, helping with field trips, sharing your passions and skills with students, attending fun community events-there are so many ways to be involved in the learning and magic that unfolds each day. We truly want your voice as coauthors and heroes in our DCS story.
